On-line Course Guidance
Things to know about taking an on-line course:
- Students must have an excellent internet connection; high speed preferred.
- Books must be ordered separately for each on-line course and must be the most current edition. (Please see textbook section of this website.)
- Students should anticipate spending at least six hours on-line per week for each course in addition to readings, preparation of assignments for discussion on Blackboard.
- It is expected that students will participate actively on-line at least twice weekly in each course.
- Assignments that are due will be turned in no later than the due date. Failure to do so, will result in grade penalties listed in the syllabus.
- A successful on-line learner is self-directed, independent and a good time manager.
