Things to know about taking an on-line course:

  1. Students must have an excellent internet connection; high speed preferred.
  2. Books must be ordered separately for each on-line course and must be the most current edition. (Please see textbook section of this website.)
  3. Students should anticipate spending at least six hours on-line per week for each course in addition to readings, preparation of assignments for discussion on Blackboard.
  4. It is expected that students will participate actively on-line at least twice weekly in each course.
  5. Assignments that are due will be turned in no later than the due date. Failure to do so, will result in grade penalties listed in the syllabus.
  6. A successful on-line learner is self-directed, independent and a good time manager.
