EDUC 511 - Introduction to Teaching in International Schools (includes Human Growth and Development) - Fall and Spring online (our equivalent to EDUC 539)
EDUC 512 - Teaching Elementary Social Studies in International Schools
EDUC 513 -Teaching Elementary Math in International Schools
EDUC 514 - Teaching Elementary Science in International Schools
EDUC 516 - Language Across the Elementary International School Curriculum
EDUC 520 - Curriculum/Instruction/Assessment in Elementary International Schools
EDCI 790 - Student Teaching/Internship
Student teaching option (6 credits, 15-week course); all licensure course work and general course work must be completed prior to student teaching. An internship may also be completed by teaching for one full year overseas in an accredited school as an elementary teacher. However, Peace Corps Fellows must complete their internship or teach one full year in the U.S.

Optional Master’s Degree (12 additional credit hours/15 for those starting prior to Fall 2008)
EDUC 537- Foundations of Multicultural Education - Fall and Spring online
EDRS 590-- Educational Research – required only for those starting the program prior to Fall 2008; those required to take the course may substitute an approved course
EDCI 516- Bilingualism and Language Acquisition Research - Fall online
EDCI 519- Methods of Teaching Bilingual/English in Second Language Settings (prerequisite EDCI 516)
EDCI 777- Theory into Practice. This course must be taken last; students should be teaching at this point. EDCI 777 begins online March 1 as a summer course.
*A Master’s degree in Education in the FAST TRAIN program requires completion of both licensure course work (18 credit hours) plus additional Master’s degree course work (12 or 15 credit hours, depending on when you started the program).
