FAST TRAIN’s International Baccalaureate® graduate certificate program is designed for PYP, MYP or DP teachers who are working or want to work in IB schools worldwide. With successful completion of the graduate certificate, students are eligible to apply to the IB for the IB Teacher Award Level I. This award, in addition to recognizing superior understanding of the student learner and the principles and practices of the IB curriculum, exempts teachers from further mandated IB professional development. This unique program is offered in two cohort formats to fit the busy lives of teachers.
With an additional 15 credits of study, can also earn the optional Master’s Degree Program through Mason’s Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning Program. This program offers a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction that is aligned with the National Board for Professional Teaching standards, and students may apply to the IB for the Teacher Award Level II after completion of the M.Ed. These prestigious certifications are designed for students who want to become teacher-leaders in IB schools worldwide. For more information about this program, please visit the program's website.
