Mason Tops U.S. News List of Schools to Watch

Mason was named the nation's number one university to watch on U.S. News and World Report's new list of "Up-and-Coming Schools" published on Friday, Aug. 22.

The Council of International Schools and George Mason University FAST TRAIN Program have been conducting an annual June international teacher recruitment fair, on the GMU campus, since 2002.  The Council of International Schools is a US and UK registered non-profit international education organization with over 600 member international schools, grade K-12, and 460 US and UK member universities.  CIS has been providing teacher recruitment, school accreditation, university student tours and educational workshops for its member international schools for over 40 years.  CIS has held bi-annual recruitment fairs in London for 27 years and in North American for the last ten years. Founded in 1955, International Schools Services,(ISS) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to the educational excellence for children attending international schools worldwide.  Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, ISS is led by a team of professionals with decades of experience. ISS has been holding US based recruitment fairs for over 40 years and has been holding an additional annual recruitment fair in Bangkok since 2007. CIS and ISS, both of whom share an established reputation of adhering to high educational standards, have been conducting joint recruitment fairs in the USA for the last four years and will be co-hosting their 2nd annual CIS-ISS Recruitment fair at GMU, sponsored by FAST TRAIN program, at the Student Union II building, June 12-14.

 

The CIS-ISS GMU June Recruitment Fair offers upcoming and recent graduates an opportunity to attend interviews with a wide selection of international schools and to also attend individual school orientations, at which candidates can learn more about each school attending the fair and the host countries in which the schools are located. 

 

Students interested in attending the CIS-ISS GMU June Recruitment Fair should register and establish a placement file with either CIS www.cois.org or ISS www.iss,edu .
