CIS Requirements for Registration - FAST TRAIN Students

To register for the CIS/ISS/GMU Recruitment Fair, go online to the CIS website to register.  What you will need:

• An email/letter from George Mason confirming that the candidate has met all requirements for teacher licensure and/or an MA degree
• Three confidential, supervisory and educational references: These references should be submitted by a school principal (where the candidate has recently taught), a FAST TRAIN Professor, or a professor in a previous undergraduate degree program. References should be requested to submit their references on school or university headed stationery.
• Copies of all awarded degrees and teaching certificates
• A one page typed personal statement which describes your philosophy of education.

Once you have completed the online registration form you will have a pending application file. When all the required documentation has been received your pending application file will be reviewed. If successful, you will be registered with the CIS Teacher Placement Service and be issued an invitation to attend the June CIS/GMU FAST TRAIN Recruitment Fair.
