The links to the right as well as the information below give you step by step instructions on filling out the online application.

• If applying for the first time, when you click on the online application you will first have to create a user id and pin. Once you have completed the pin and id, you will have to select an application type from the drop-down menu. You will select: GR Education and Human Development. Then when you click on “Continue,” you will type in the term and your name and click on “Fill Out Application.”
  
• You are now in the application and will see a checklist of tasks to complete. The first task is “Program of Study.” Click on this task. You will again see “Program of Study.” First click on the drop-down menu to the right of this entry.. ” What you choose will depend on the program for which you are applying:
  
  • If you are applying to the Special Education Certificate or Certificate in Advanced IB Studies, you will choose these from the drop down menu to the right of Programs of Study: FAST TRAIN Advanced IB Certificate or FAST TRAIN Special Education Certificate. Then click on “Continue.”
    
  • If you are applying to the Elementary Education or ESL Licensure/Master’s Degree Programs, you will choose "Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed" from the drop-down menu to the right of “Programs of Study” (even if you are only planning to fulfill the licensure course work and not continue for the Master’s degree). Then, go down to the bottom of the page and click on the button, “Enter Other Majors, Minors and Concentrations.” You will now see a place to fill in “Concentration” under “Programs of Study.” It is a drop-down menu where you choose your concentration, either “Inter’l Educ-FAST TRAIN ESOL or “Int’l Educ-FAST TRAIN Pk-6. Then complete the rest of the application.
